Counting Crows cover art contest finalist
Wow...I am just so excited, I had to share the news! On a whim and at the urging of my husband, I entered a contest to design a cover for Adam Duritz's new album (one of my all time favorite musicians), titled All My Bloody Valentines. I really wasn't expecting anything, but today I found out that out of 1200 entries I made it into the finals! Hooray! Here's the painting I used. I am currently reworking my entry to tweak the font and include a back cover. It's due by Wednesday so it can go to press if I win!

Thanks, Kelly! I'm still waiting to hear back about the contest. Last night was the deadline for the finalists to re-submit their work. I have my fingers and toes crossed!

Still no word on a winner yet! It's driving me craaaaaaaaazy! Er...crazier. There's a rumor that today may be the day it's announced, so keep your fingers crossed for me!
